Plus, being able to get out of the house to breathe in the outdoor air, I feel very comfortable.”

According to Mr. Le Thanh Tai, Chairman of People's Committee of Di An city, the easing of activities was carried out in accordance with the direction of the province and the guidance of the city People's Committee. However, based on the local situation, Di An city continues to maintain and implement many solutions to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic to firmly protect safe green zones. The basic measure is still to strengthen the checkpoints, patrol and strictly control the movement of people, and at the same time, regularly propagate so that each citizen would voluntarily comply with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control. “The locality always tries to create all conditions and best serve the people in all activities. However, Covid-19 prevention and control measures must still be taken under close supervision to achieve the highest goal of maintaining the green zone," said Mr. Le Thanh Tai.

Enterprises making efforts to recover

The Covid-19 epidemic is gradually being controlled, which has stimulated the city's production and business rhythm to recover. To promote production and business activities, the Di An city authroity is drastically implementing many solutions including continual solutions to help businesses restore production and create motivation to perform tasks in the new situation.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tai Duong, Chairman of the Trade Union of Maruichi Sun Steel Joint Stock Company in Di An city, the company currently has about 400 officers and workers who are still working under the "3 on the spot" model. Compared to the time before the outbreak of the epidemic, the company's revenue is now much lower, but the unit still implements many solutions to maintain jobs and the salary and bonus for workers. Although it is gradually returning to the "new normal state", the Covid-19 control process at the company is still strictly conducted. The company is preparing plans to welcome employees back to work to increase capacity and maintain development.

Mr. Le Thanh Tai added that the city is developing a plan to allow businesses in "green zones" to operate normally again. Currently, businesses in the area continue to implement the model of "3 on the spot", "1 route, 2 destinations" and "3 green" (green factory, green accommodation, and green worker) in the "green zone" areas. The current priority task of Di An city is to protect the achievements and to gradually reopen activities to help the economy of Di An city recover and regain growth momentum.
