Early August 16, Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired the 68th session of provincial People's Committee to review various issues related to the local plan on socio-economic development.
The session reviewed drafts of the resolutions regulating tuition fees for public preschool and general education institutions from the 2024-2025 school year, criteria for determining areas lacking public elementary schools within the province; a draft decision authorizing the issuance of land use rights certificates and ownership of assets attached to the land; a draft resolution approving the tasks for the overall plan for the 1/5000 scale of the Dat Cuoc Industrial Park.
The session also reviewed a draft plan for organizing and implementing urban rejuvenation, including planting trees along both sides of National Highway 13, from Vinh Binh bridge in Thuan An city’s Vinh Phu ward to the intersection with Le Hong Phong street in Thu Dau Mot city; a draft plan for implementing provincial social housing development project for 2024 and 2025; a proposal for drafting a resolution by provincial People's Council to establish mechanisms for supporting social housing investment projects in the province…
Concluding the session, Mr. Minh generally agreed with the contents presented at the session. According to the Chairman of provincial People's Committee, the draft plans for making urban rejuvenation, planting trees along both sides of National Highway 13, developing social housing projects for 2024 and 2025 are important and strategic for the local development in the future. He requested departments and sectors to coordinate with relevant units to effectively implement these plans.
Regarding the support mechanism for implementing social housing investment projects in the province, relevant departments and sectors need to continue accelerating the process of the implementation and call for investors to get involved in social housing investment projects at the needs of the people. In terms of the proposal to draft a resolution by provincial People's Council to establish mechanisms for supporting provincial social housing investment projects, provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over the draft and develop a specific mechanism suitable to reality, creating a legal framework for State management agencies in charge of housing to effectively perform assigned functions and tasks, accelerate the progress of the implementation as well as attracting social housing investment projects in the province...
