Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province continues to excel in social security work

"Keeping on to excel in social security work in the last 6 months of the year and the remaining half of the term..." is the key task that Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member, Head of the Provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized at the conference to review the midterm of the implementation of the Resolution of the 9^th provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Congress of 2019-2024 tenure, and to summarize the work in the first 6 months of the year.

Working together to build a new countryside and a civilized city

Since the beginning of the term, the international, domestic and especially the situation in the province has had great changes due to the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the entire CPV, people and army have united and made joint and drastic efforts in unanimity for disease prevention and control with determination to realize the "dual goal" of both prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic and socio-economic development.

Adhering to the political tasks and working programs of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front and the working program of the province, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has actively developed plans and implemented the program to coordinate and unify best act according to schedule and plan with outstanding results. One of the salient features of the front work in the first half of the last term was to renovate the contents, methods, and to improve the quality of the Fatherland Front's activities in the direction of focus and strong orientation towards the grassroots, which is close to the people and appropriate to the characteristics and actual situation of the locality.

In the past half term, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province has launched and used various funds to excel in social security work

Typically, in Thuan An city, the city's Fatherland Front has promoted its role in building a civilized urban lifestyle in the area. The Standing Board of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An city has developed and implemented a plan to participate in building an "urban civilized lifestyle", "without trash roads and alleys", "no garbage neighborhoods"; develop a coordination program between the Standing Board of the city Fatherland Front Committee and the People's Committee, departments, unions and member organizations of the city to implement the campaign of "All people unifying to build a new rural area and civilized city”, which is synchronously deployed to all classes of people.

In Bac Tan Uyen district, the Fatherland Front at all levels has closely followed the direction of Party committees at all levels, and done well in coordinating with the authorities and member organizations, promoting the core role in propaganda, mobilize the entire population to effectively implement, implement and mobilize the people to participate in the construction of new rural areas. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the district's Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee has focused on promoting propaganda and advocacy, and at the same time, promoting the active role of typical individuals and prestigious people in the residential community among backgrounds and religions. Many new models, good practices in participating in the construction of new rural areas are effective such as the self-governing route model, the model "light on country roads", the movement of road construction in the countryside. On the other hand, the work of caring for poor and disadvantaged households and socially-privileged families has always been effectively organized by the fronts at all levels in the district. The above results have shown that the quality of the geopark is getting deeper and deeper to the grassroots. Up to now, 2 communes in the district have met the standards of advanced rural areas of Lac An commune, Dat Cuoc commune; and, 5 communes are submitting documents to build advanced rural areas. The people's good participation in the implementation of models, stadiums, patriotic emulation movements have brought many positive effects, thereby, changing the rural appearance of the district.

To promote propaganda

The outstanding results of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committees in localities in the province have contributed significantly to the achievement of the targets set out by the Resolution of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Congress for the 2019-2024 term. In addition to propaganda, which was implemented synchronously, comprehensively and with many innovations, the Fatherland Front at all levels has excelled the consultation, unification, and assignment of member organizations to carry out national parks and emulation movements initiated by the Front. The Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have promoted the implementation associated with each content of the Geopark through many practical and specific programs, creating more and more widespread pervasiveness, bringing high social effects, arousing spirit of solidarity, helping to develop the economy and reduce poverty sustainably; at the same time, meeting the requirements of reforming front work, renovating mass mobilization towards the grassroots, and promoting the patriotic emulation movement in the construction and development of the rich, beautiful and civilized Binh Duong homeland.

Social security work, care for the poor, the mobilization of the construction and use of the Fund for the Poor and the Relief Fund have been paid much attention to by the fronts at all levels in various forms with practical effectiveness. The Standing Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province shall coordinate flexibly and appropriately in launching and using various Funds for the Poor and Relief Funds including the source of campaigning for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic and social security resources of member organizations to help and support the poor, poor households, and compatriots affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, and people affected by the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, in the remaining half of the term and the last months of the year, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations need to concretize directions and tasks, targets, and strengthen solutions to well implement the proposed resolution; at the same time, do well the advocacy work to ensure the goal of all the people to send their children to school together in the new school year.

Mr. Loc emphasized: “It is necessary to promote propaganda and improve the quality of the supervision and criticism of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province, to renovate the mode of operation in the work of the front and its member organizations in the remaining half of the term.”
