Football tournament celebrating 70th anniversary of People’s security force held

Provincial Police Agency’s Youth Union yesterday kicked off a football tournament in celeration of the 70^th anniversary of the People’s Public Security (July 12, 1946-July 12, 2016) and the 54^th anniversary of Traditional Day of Vietnam People's Police Force (July 20, 1962-July 20, 2016).

The tournament absorbed 80 athletes from provincial Police Agency’s Youth Union, provincial Anti-fire Police Agency’s Youth Union; the Southern Mobile Police Regiment under the Ministry of Public Security; Tan Son Nhat International Airport Police Agency’s Youth Union together some schools of police training.

According to Lieutenant Vu Thi Thu Trang, Vice-Secretary of provincial Police Agency’s Youth Union, who is also Head of the organizing board of the tournament, this is not only a playground for Youth Union members to take physical exercises, but also a chance for them to exchange and boost solidarity, thereby contributing to helping them well fulfill their entrusted tasks.
