In order to contribute to spreading the preservation and promotion of the good values ​​of the traditional Vietnamese “Ao dai”, Phu Giao district Women's Union over the years encouraged officials, members and women to wear “Ao dai” in the possible conditions. This was implemented under the motto of “the association's cadres, members doing it first for other women to follow”. Accordingly, each cadre and member worn traditional “Ao dai” on holidays, Tet, meetings, summation, unity festival in residential areas ...

The district’s Women’s Unions at all levels showed effectiveness after two years of responding to the event  of "Ao Dai - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage", launched by the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee on March 8, 2020. Therefore, they want to further bring into full play  the strength of this event in the 2021-2026 tenure. Specifically, they will continue implementing many practical and meaningful activities such as organizing the “Ao dai”-wearing week, introducing “Ao dai” models in events, organizing various contests to learn about “Ao dai” (namely "Charming Vietnamese women through traditional Ao dai", “Ao dai through photos”, “Designing Ao dai, creating clips to promote the image of Vietnamese Ao dai ”…among the local women.

 Especially, the local Women’s Union will further disseminate the value of traditional “Ao dai”, ensured 100% of cadres, members  wearing “Ao dai” when participating in meetings, art-cultural activities; discover and replicate good models such as  wearing “Ao dai” on the first flag saluting day of the month; wearing traditional “Ao dai” on Monday every week and promote propaganda on the meaning of Vietnamese traditional “Ao dai” via the mass media, on social networks Zalo, Facebook…
