Friendly cooperative signing between Binh Duong and East Flanders province (Belgium)

Morning Oct 14th, the memorandum signing ceremony on friendly cooperation between Binh Duong and East Flanders province (Belgium) took place at provincial People’s Committee. Tran Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Geert Versnick, Deputy Governor on foreign economic relations of East Flanders province; Jehanne Roccas, Belgian Ambassador in Vietnam; Dominique Casier, Belgian Consul at HCMC took part in the ceremony.

Tran Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; and Geert Versnick, Deputy Governor on foreign economic relations of East Flanders province, signed the memorandum of understanding on friendly cooperation between Binh Duong and East Flanders province (Belgium)

Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee and the government of East Flanders province agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding to consolidate friendly relations and cooperation on many fields. In the future, the two sides will prioritize economic and trade activities in the field of science - engineering, logistics services, high-tech agricultural applications… Both sides will also jointly develop a sustainable relationship contributing to promoting socioeconomic development of the two provinces.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Liem stressed, Binh Duong and East Flanders province had many things in common, like area, population and development orientations. He believed that the friendly cooperative relation between the two provinces would be better and deeper.
