Friends grouped up to do charity work

Update: 13-10-2010 | 00:00:00

They have their own career but share a heart of kindness which is the chemistry bonding them together in a journey of happiness sharing to those who are disadvantaged in life. Without many words, they get together whenever they are available to join in charity work including charity house, flood relief, scholarships to poor students or by funds supporting women doing household business, etc.

Gifts are presented to poor women in Di An District.

In this October, hundreds of poor women received gifts of household necessities. Friend group of Ms. Tran Thi Cuc, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuan, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang from Dong Hoa Commune, Di An District is one of active groups in charity work. The members of this group choose to save up and will build one charity house a year together with other activities. This group also coordinates with unions and associations to help people not only in the province but also to other localities of the nation.

Other members of a friend group in Thu Dau Mot Town have effectively helped others by coming to them. “The more we go around the more we see people that need help. What we have done is nothing but little help. It is necessary that people should join hands to help others. And by doing so, society will be brighter without disadvantaged people while poor people can get on in life,” said the members.

“We receive much just by giving. I, myself, esteem vendors who extract their humble income to do charity work. We are entrusted by those people in contribution to charity. That is joyful,” said Ms. Pham Thuy Duong – a member of friend group in Thu Dau Mot Town.

The example Ms. Pham Thuy Duong gave was just one among others who, despite their low income, save money to help people. They give help and in return, they receive peace of soul.
