Further paying attention to realizing tasks of developing Vietnamese culture

On the morning of June 29, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held an online conference to orient and contribute ideas to the draft Strategy for Vietnam's cultural development to 2030 and the Action Program on Tourism Development for the period of 2021-2025 in Hanoi. In Binh Duong province, attending the conference was Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education.

At the conference, representative of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism introduced the draft content of Vietnam's cultural development strategy to 2030, the draft action program on tourism development for the period of 2021-2025 to delegates. Delegates also exchanged and discussed specific goals, tasks and solutions for the development of Vietnamese culture to 2030. For the tourism sector, they exchanged and discussed orientations, solutions to restore and develop Vietnam's tourism in the next 5 years; proposed initiatives and solutions to support tourism businesses, develop Vietnam's tourism sector in the new context... in order to effectively implement the Action Plan on the realization of the Resolution of the 13th national Party Congress and plan for 2021-2025 socio-economic development in the field of tourism.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong suggested leaders of ministries, sectors and localities to further pay attention to the field of culture and implement tasks that are still topical in the Vietnam Cultural Development Strategy to 2020; have closer coordination in implementing new tasks after the new period’s strategy is issued.
