Binh Duong sports sector bound for key objectives

Early November 19, provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (DoCST) organized a conference to implement the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 70-KL/TW dated January 31, 2024, on the development of physical training and sports in the new period; the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 1189/QĐ-TTg dated October 15, 2024 on approving Vietnam's Sports Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045; provincial People's Committee’s Plan No. 4356/KH-UBND dated August 9, 2024 on organizing provincial-level Sports Congress for the 2025-2026 period at provincial Customs Department’s conference hall. The conference was attended by representatives of provincial DoCST as well as officials and staff involved in the sports sector across the province. 

During the conference, participants watched a video summary with the main theme of "Vietnamese Sports Towards a New Era, a New Vision" produced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Leaders from provincial DoCST presented detailed explanations of the new highlights and key focuses regarding the viewpoints, objectives tasks and solutions for sports development outlined in the Conclusion No. 70-KL/TW, the Decision No. 1189/QĐ-TTg and the Plan No. 4356/KH-UBND. 

At the conference, participants engaged in discussions revolving around viewpoints, goals, scopes, assigned functions and tasks. They clarified various initiatives, proposed measures, solutions and outlined methods and roadmaps for effectively executing the above mentioned conclusions, decisions and plans.
