Some German films of different genres will be screened at KinoFest – the annual film festival hosted by Germany's Goethe-Institut, in early November, according to organisers.

As a collaborative project of eight Goethe institutes in Southeast Asia, Kinofest 2023 will feature films released between 2021 and 2023, which have garnered significant attention from the German film industry.
According to Gugi Gumilang, the curator of KinoFest 2023, Germany’s culture and history and the development of German cinema will be highlighted during the festival.
KinoFest will come to Vietnamese audiences in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City through the BHD cinema system.
The films are also set to be screened in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Timor Leste, and New Zealand.
They include Toubab by Florian Dietrich; Wir könnten genauso Gut Tot sein by Natalia Sinelnikova; Sisi und ich by Frauke Finsterwalder; Liebe, D-Mark und Tod by Cem Kaya; Elaha by Milena Aboyan; Bis ans Ende der Nacht by Christoph; and The Ordinaries by Sophie Linnenbaum./.
