Get-together for female veterans on International Women's Day (March 8)

Early March 5, Phu Giao district’s Veterans Association held a get-together for female veterans on the occasion of the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and the 1984^th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung (Trung Sisters)’s uprising.

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the tradition and historical significance of International Women's Day, 1984 years of the Hai Ba Trung’s uprising. They also participated in an art exchange program, with 11 troupes from grassroots Veterans Association branches in the district. These troupes performed songs with the theme of the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland and Vietnamese women.

On this occasion, the district’s Veterans Association also gave gifts for the local female veterans who attended the get-together.
