In response to the call from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to aid people in recovering from damages caused by natural disasters, on October 29, Binh Duong province held a meeting in Hanoi to express best regards and provide support to localities affected by natural disasters. Attendees included General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Minister of National Defense; Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Party, government and people of Binh Duong, Mr. Danh expressed condolences for the losses and hardships that residents of affected provinces have endured, due to recent storms and floods. Provincial leaders presented symbolic donation cheques to Hoa Binh, Quang Tri, and Binh Dinh provinces. Each province was supported VND 5 billion from provincial Relief Fund.
Binh Duong hopes that this support will serve as encouragement, helping the provinces of Hoa Binh, Quang Tri, and Binh Dinh to recover from national disasters, assisting local people to quickly stablize their lives.
