A get-together for southern Binh Duong province’s delegates who will attend a journey named “Thang Long-Hon thieng song nui” (Thang Long-Holy land spirit) was organized on the morning of September 23.

In the journey, a delegation from southern Binh Duong province includes four Vietnamese heroic mothers, namely Nguyen Thi Dau, Ung Thi Nung, Dang Thi Nhieu, Nguyen Thi Huong and Nguyen Thi Ut; five heroes of the people’s armed forces, namely Doan Van Thai, Nguyen Xuan Tinh, Tran Ngoc Giao, Nguyen Duc Nghia and Le Ngoc Bich, vice-chairman of provincial Veterans’ Society who is also head of the delegation.
Speaking at the get-together, provincial Party Committee Deputy Chief cum provincial People’s Council Chairman Vu Minh Sang extended his regards and wished for good health to the delegation’s members before starting the journey.
The “Thang Long-Holy land spirit” journey is co-held by the Vietnam War Veterans’ Association, the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union and Mai Linh Group. The journey will take 1,000 heroes and heroic mothers from 63 cities and provinces to Ha Noi to commemorate Hanoi’s 1,000th anniversary.
