Gifts presented to soldiers and people on Son Ca island

A delegation, including leaders of the Brigade 146 and 28 correspondents from the local and central press agencies, radio-television stations, had an exchange program with army forces stationed on Son Ca island belonging to Truong Sa archipelago on January 13.

During the exchange program, the delegation heard a report on national defence-security on Son Ca island. The delegation also presented gifts to soldiers and people on the island. On this occasion, Binh Duong Daily donated VND100mln and 30 diaries of “Ho Chi Minh generation” to the island. Sang Ban Mai Joint Stock Company at Ben Cat town-based My Phuoc Industrial Park also presented gifts, comprising of bronze bells and wooden bells, to Son Ca pagoda on the island. The age-old pagoda was established by locals. In 2014, it was upgraded and became one of the biggest pagodas on Truong Sa archipelago.
