Le Van Nga, vice-chairman of Binh Nham communal Fatherland Front Committee said that the local authorities offered more help to 148 households hit by whirlwind on Oct.6.

 

Particularly, the district’s Mobilization Board for the Fund for the Poor provided VND20mln as relief aid for 2 families with houses completely collapsed. The district’s Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention granted VND18mln for 9 families with houses having roofs blown off. Meanwhile, the district’s Fund for the Poor donated VND11mln to 6 families seriously affected by the natural calamity. Representative of the Army Corps No.4 also visited and presented gifts worth VND300,000 each to 3 affected families.

 

According to statistics, Binh Nham commune now has 21 families seriously affected by the natural calamity in need of assistance.
