Giving Tet gifts from Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong to disadvantaged children

On January 26, Binh Duong Provincial National Assembly’s delegation coordinated with Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Military Command to organize a gift giving program supported by Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of General Staff of Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense - for children of Binh Duong province on the occasion of Tet 2024.

The program had the participation of Nguyen Minh Thuy, Provincial Party Standing Member, Head of Provincial Party Organization Committee; Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Provincial Party Standing Member, Head of Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee; Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, Provincial Party Standing Member, Commander of Provincial Military Command; Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Deputy Head of Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Accordingly, authorized by Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, the program awarded 200 gifts to students and children having difficult circumstances. Each gift was worth 1.5 million VND (including 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 500,000 VND).

l On the same day, Provincial National Assembly delegation led by Le Van Kham, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Social Committee, visited and presented 50 gifts to workers and families having difficult circumstances in Bau Bang district. Each gift included 300,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 1 million VND. Total value of the gifts was 65 million VND. On this occasion, Kham also presented 60 gifts to workers and families having difficult circumstances in three districts of Dau Tieng, North Tan Uyen and Phu Giao.
