Good preparation for conference summarizing and visiting main models of the Ministry of National Defense

On the afternoon of June 26, provincial Military Command held a politico-military conference to evaluate the results of the implementation of the local military – nationak defense tasks in the first 6 months of 2023, set out directions and tasks for the rest of the year. In the first 6 months of 2023, provincial Military Command’s Party Committee thoroughly grasped, studied and mastered the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies, laws, resolutions and directives of higher authorities on military – national defense tasks; upheld the role of the Party Committee, the heads in directing the local armed forces to comprehensively complete objectives and tasks, many of which were successfully completed; especially excelled at grasping, analyzing and forecasting situations, coordinating and advising on opportunely and effectively handling situations, maintaining political security - social order and safety in the province; well implemented the guidelines and models of the Military Zone 7, the Ministry of National Defense; effectively maintained implemented models and schemes, ensuring the solidity and long term for provincial armed forces to build up a comprehensively strong unit. The overall quality and combat strength of provincial armed forces were improved with internal unity, cadres and soldiers bringing into full play the virtues of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", successfully completing the assigned tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ha suggested that in the coming time, provincial Military Command should focus on advising the Party committees and authorities to improve the efficiency of State management on national defense, associating socio-economic development with national defense and security; well perform the work of being ready to fight, ready to mobilize forces and means to effectively handle situations, not to be passive or unexpected; ensure that the rate of recruiters being Party members reaches 1% or more in 2024. Especially, provincial Military Command’s Party Committee should carefully prepare all aspects of the conference to review and visit main models on the local national defense, militia forces, serving the Ministry of National Defense, units and localities on June 30 ahead.

On this occasion, 36 collectives and 50 individuals were also awarded provincial People's Committee’s certificates of merit for their achievements in implementing typical models on the local military-national defence, militia forces in the province.
