It can be seen that, due to many drastic and appropriate solutions, Di An Town achieved many good results. Fundamental annual targets were completed. In particular, the building and strengthening of Party, political system was directed and implemented in many new ways, many creative models. Di An Town Party Committee directed leaders of Party, governments, Fatherland Front and political-social organizations from town to grassroots level to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State’s policies and laws; implement Directive 05-CT/TW on "Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle" combined with the performance of the Central Resolution 4 (12^th term); seriously, promptly and thoroughly implement all resolutions of the Party. The political system was regularly strengthened and improved to ensure the Party's leadership in implementing political tasks. The great national unity bloc was consolidated; the people's confidence in the Party's leadership and the State's management also increased.

Ngo Ngoc Diep, Deputy Secretary of Di An Town Party Committee, said: “In order to realize the Party's resolutions, Di An Town renovated activities of propagation and setting of objectives to create strong agreement among people. The town Party Committee directed Fatherland Front, political and social organizations to develop dissemination and implementation of plans to all officials, union members, and people. The method and motto of our leadership is being close and oriented towards grassroots level. In particular, right from the beginning of this tenure, Party Standing Committee developed a specific plan, which focused on leadership and direction.

According to assessment of implementation results of Di An Town Party Resolution in the middle of tenure 2015-2020 (data from 2015 to 2018) of the town Party Committee, economic structure of Di An Town continued to shift to the right direction, industrial production proportion in the economic structure accounted for nearly 63%, services accounted for more than 37%, and agriculture accounted for 0.04%. In trade and service sector of the town, there was a breakthrough development, with an average annual growth rate of 35.19% / year; total retail sales of goods and services was 67,677 billion VND, up 34.99% compared to the plan; industrial production value increased by 10.68% / year on average.

Besides, Di An Town focuses on planning, construction management, and investment in urban and technical infrastructure development; organized public announcement of the overall planning adjustment of Di An Town until 2040; the zoning planning adjustment of Di An and Dong Hoa wards; preliminary review of management, re-establishing of urban order in the town. People's lives, policy beneficiaries, social welfare, the poor’s living standards were improved; the quality of education and healthcare was constantly heightened ...

Di An Town is specifying plans according to each year, with appropriate encouragement and support mechanisms. Namely, in Party construction, Di An Party Committee directed committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, and political - social organizations to closely follow resolutions, perform important tasks, and focus on solutions and roadmap suitable to the situation and characteristics of each unit and locality. In the first quarter of 2019, although there were many difficulties affecting the local situation, Di An Town Committee focused on leading and directing the synchronous and drastic implementation of groups of tasks and solutions to ensure the completion and exceeding the set targets. In particular, the construction of the Party and political system continued to be reformed towards streamlining, effective, and efficient operation.

In the field of socio-economic development, the value of industrial production, trades, services, and agriculture production was estimated to reach VND 24,620 billion - VND 23,791 billion - VND 5,835 billion, equaling to 25.09% - 25 , 1% - 25.37% of the 2019 plan. Total budget revenue was VND 818,446 billion, equaling to 12.68% of Provincial People's Committee target and the town People's Council resolution; total budget expenditure was estimated at VND 155,665 billion, 14.56% of the estimate assigned by Provincial People's Committee and resolution of the town People's Council. According to Ms. Diep, these results came from the unanimity, solidarity among the Party committees, who has led and implemented comprehensively tasks for local socio-economic development, and efforts from the people in the area.
