“Green Sunday” campaign 2017 launched

Early June 4, provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union launched the “Green Sunday” campaign and the “Pink Vacation” campaign 2017, with the participation of more than 100 Youth Union members.

With a goal of building civilized streets with food safety, the local Youth Union members got involved in making environmental hygiene on Huynh Van Luy street in TDM city’s Phu Loi ward.

The activity upheld the voluntary role of the bloc’s youths in environmental protection while raising public awareness in this field, contributing to making the local urban rejuvenation and building a green-clean and nice environment.

*A ceremony to launch the “Green Sunday” campaign 2017 was also held in TDM city’s Phu Hoa ward on the morning of June 4 with the participation of 80 Youth Union members.

The activity aimed to raise awareness and responsibility of Youth Union members, firms and the whole society in environmental protection.

After the launching ceremony, all 14 wards of the city deployed the “Green Sunday” campaign by practical and concrete actions, contributing to improving public awareness of keeping environmental hygiene, eradicating “black” spots on waste, reshaping the local urban image in association with the content of building civilized urban and cultural lifestyle…
