Recalling those years of hardship, Vua said: “With our first monies, we bought 3 swines and 10 pigs to aim at getting the best out of it; however, the pandemics failed us. We switched to other kinds of husbandry before ending up in breeding dairy cows. We obtained loans from Bank of Social Policies.”The first days with the dairy cows was of challenges which did not turn them down. Vua said: “The cows are very adaptive to cool air; thus, we should have dry, clean, and airy space for them. In dry season, I add up moisture by mist-making sprayers. We split the cows, each one to a place to facilitate milking.”Vua added that aside from stable cleaning, we should pay more attention to feeding time and vaccination to maximize the production of milk.To reduce the cost and increase the profits, food mixing should be taken into consideration.…to revenuesThe milk cows have brought up stable income to Vua’s family. He said: “The success of breeding them was that we could afford to build a house on our own land lot. We could now support our children in colleges and universities. Binh Duong Province has become our second homeland.”Vua could earn VND 14,000 per kilo of milk and daily he could sell out 60 kilos of milk.“The breeding of cows is very effective but we need funding and land for grass growing to add up food sources.
