Journey of young people

Ten “Following the tradition for a sustainable future” journeys organized at 10 historical relic sites across the province are the journeys of young people today about the revolutionary history on Binh Duong homeland.

Coming to the “Following the tradition for a sustainable future” journey at Vinh Loi war zone in Vinh Tan commune’s hamlet 3 in Tan Uyen town, Youth Union members had a chance to have a look at then objects and photos about the two resistance struggles against foreign invaders…

Through “red addresses”, the “Following the tradition for a sustainable future” journeys have contributed to consolidating revolutionary ideals among Youth Union members. They were begun from Hoi Khang pagoda in TDM city to historical relic sites in districts, towns, namely Phu Loi Prison, Tam Giac Sat (Iron triangle) tunnel in Ben Cat town’s An Tay commune, Thuan An Hoa war zone in Thuan An city’s An Phu ward, Vinh Loi war zone in Tan Uyen town’s Vinh Tan commune, Bau Goc base in North Tan Uyen district’s Dat Cuoc commune, the Victory Statue of Phuoc Thanh in Phu Giao district’s Phuoc Hoa commune, the Victory Monument of Bau Bang in Bau Bang district’s Lai Uyen township…

During the above journeys, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee honored 90 young Party members, 136 advanced youths following Uncle Ho’s teachings for the 2018-2020 period. Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and Young Pioneer Organization also honored 17 outstanding individuals in the “Small plan” program, 15 outstanding individuals in the “Courageous man with thousand of good deeds” program…

Tran Thi Nhu Y, a cadre of Di An city’s Youth Union said that she felt very honorable when taking in the “Following the tradition for a sustainable future” and being honored as an outstanding individual in following Uncle Ho’s teachings. She will try harder in tasks, strive to well fulfill all entrusted tasks, actively study and follow Uncle Ho’s teachings, contributing to promoting the local Youth Union activities.
