Local economy in August continues reaching growth with social welfare ensured

Early August 24, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee presided over a periodic meeting in August, 2017. Attending the event were vice-chairpersons of provincial People’s Committee, leaders of sectors, departments and localities in the province.

The province’s economic targets in August continued reaching growth compared to the previous month and the same period last year. Over the past 8 months, the province’s index of industrial production increased by 9.1% against the same period last year. The province’s trade-services value and export turnover obtained VND108.6trillion and more than US$18bilion, up 20% and 17.2% over the same period last year, respectively. The province’s trade surplus reached more than US$4.3billion…

In August, the province continued absorbing additional US$3trillion in domestic capital and more than US$113million in FDI capital. Thus, the province over the past 8 months lured more than VND32.3billion in domestic capital and US$1.85trillion in FDI capital. The province’s stable production and business contributed to increasing State budget collection. Besides, the province’s social welfare reached positive results. The province continued well realizing policies for war invalids, martyrs and revolutionary contributors. In the 2017-2018 academic year, it is expected to have additional 30,000 pupils at all levels. The province’s sector of education and training also recruited additional 1,136 civil servants at the local demand for learning and teaching in the new academic year…

Concluding the meeting, Mr.Liem approved a draft regulation on procedures for investment verification in association of verification of land use demand, conditions for land lease, change of land use purpose; a decision regulating arrangement of industrial manufacture fields in the province while asking for relevant agencies to attach special importance to taking measures to hasten capital disbursement for public investment in 2017, continue realizing solutions to improve the investment climate…
