Local propaganda-education sector needs to focus on propaganda, creating unity in thought and action

On the afternoon of August 11, Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation visited and worked with provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education.

The working session was attended by Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee, leaders of a number of departments, sectors and agencies of the province and representatives of the Propaganda and Education Commissions of districts, towns and cities.

At the working session, Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education reported some outstanding results in performing the functions and duties of assisting provincial Party Committee; reported on a number of key tasks in the first half of 2023 and key tasks for the rest of the year. Representatives of the units also expressed opinions to promote results done as well as proposing solutions to remove obstacles in the operation of the propaganda-education sector in general and propaganda work in particular.

Addressing the working session, Mr. Loi praised and spoke highly of results done by the local propaganda-education sector, greatly contributing to the local socio-economic development. He also emphasized that in the coming time, the local propaganda work should focus on propaganda to create unity of thought and action, thereby creating consensus in the society. The sector’s staff need to further improve themselves to meet their tasks in the new context. In addition, the sector should implement digital transformation, use information technology to enhance propaganda work. The sector must also enhance the quality and quantity of communication, especially propagandize effective models on Party building, political system building, examples of good people and good deeds...; focus on propagandizing a number of such key fields as planning, economic development, investment attraction, removal of people and businesses’ difficulties, digital transformation, digital government, smart city construction...

On the occasion of the 93rd anniversary traditional anniversary of the Party’s Propaganda and Education (August 8, 1930 - August 1, 2023), Mr. Loi presented flowers and wanted all staff of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education to promote results achieved in the year and try to successfully complete all assigned tasks...
