A delegation led by provincial Fatherland Front Committee Chairwoman Dao Ngoc Nu yesterday visited and presented gifts worth VND800,000 each to six centenarians in Thuan An district, including Vo Thi Vong, Thong Thi Muoi in Lai Thieu township; Nguyen Thi Tep, Lai Vinh Quang in An Thanh township; Nguyen Thi Xanh in Thuan Giao commune; Pham Thi Suoi in Binh Nham commune. Mrs.Nu on behalf of the delegation extended regards to these centenarians and wished them good health.

 

Also on this occasion, five delegations of Thuan An district’s leaders visited and congratulated the local elder people aged 91 and above on their longevity. Among them, 191 elderly people aged between 91 and 99 were presented gifts worth VND300,000 each. There were 4 elderly people aged 101 and above receiving gifts worth VND1mln each.

 

*On the morning of the same day, provincial Society for the Elderly and Dau Tieng district’s leaders visited and presented gifts to eight centenarians in Dinh An, Minh Thanh, Long Hoa communes and Dau Tieng township. The district’s leaders also visited and offered 139 gifts for the elderly aged between 91 and 100.

 

Meanwhile, Phu Giao district’s leaders visited and congratulated 99 elderly people aged 90 and above on their longevity, including 3 over the age of 100.
