Long Tan primary school recognized as a national standard school of first degree

Early March 5, Long Tan primary school held a ceremony to receive its recognition as a national standard school of the first degree from provincial People’s Committee.

Long Tan primary school has a total area of more than 15,000 sq.m with 18 classes and 530 pupils. On average, each class has around 29 pupils. 100% of the school’s teachers has so far reached standards on training. Among them, 23% have been recognized as good teachers at provincial and district levels.

Although locating in a remote area of the province, Long Tan primary school has always reached 100% of the ratio of mobilizing six-year-old pupils to enter the first grade. For many consecutive years, the school has also been recognized as a national standard unit in illiterate prevention, universalization in primary education. There are nearly 35% of pupils with excellent ranking and more than 32% with moderately good ranking. The school has also gained high results in the emulation movement of good pupils.
