“Beloved islands” was a cultural show propagating Vietnamese archipelagoes and will take place at Di An town Administrative Center on 2nd August. This was an event organized by provincial Culture, Sport & Tourism Department cooperating with southern bureau of Culture, Sport & Tourism Ministry. The purpose of this program is to serve entertainment needs, propagate archipelagoes, patriotism among people, especially workers in industrial parks of some key southern provinces. In the evening of 2nd and 3rd August, the preliminary round of the 3rd Di An Singing Radio Contest 2014 took place at Di An town’s Political Training Center with participation of more than 100 contestants. The event organized by town Radio Station was to enhance cultural activities, facilitate gathering and exchanging between people loving music, and especially to introduce musical talents on the airwave. In order to search for talents as well as establish an folk ensemble performing at local cultural events, Culture Information – Sport Center of Bau Bang district hosted the 2014 Melody of Heart contest. Organizers selected 25 contestants to participate in the semifinal taking place at the Political Training Center in the evening of 2nd August. Outstanding contestants would be chosen into the finals taking place on 9th August. After 3 days 2 nights of experiencing knowledge of social living skills, military science knowledge at provincial Police’s Professional Cultivating and Training Center, young campers and parents participated in Children summer camp “Dynamic teenagers learn good things” on 2nd August.
