Mass mobilisation contributes significantly to socio-economic achievements

Mass mobilization work contributed greatly to maintaining socio-political stability and achieving socio-economic targets, as well as ensuring national defence and security.

Nguyen The Trung, Deputy Permanent Head of the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission for Mass Mobilisation, said this in Hanoi on February 22 at a congress to review mass mobilization work in 2010 and plan the implementation of the 11th National Party Congress Resolution on mass mobilization. The congress was chaired by Ha Thi Khiet, Member of the PCC Secretariat and Head of the PCC Commission for Mass Mobilisation

In his report presented at the congress, Trung said that the “mass mobilization” campaign was carried out effectively in 2010 and achieved significant changes at the grass roots level.

Talking about mass mobilization work in 2011, Mr. Trung, who is also a member of the Party Central Committee, said the sector will improve its way of working to increase effectiveness; strengthen the close relationship between the Party and the people; reinforce great national unity, and mobilize people from all walks of life to contribute to socio-political stability and social order, and work towards achieving socio-economic targets.
