At the meeting, the executives of the Board highly appreciated achievements of Provincial People’s Committee and departments in synchronizing practical and suitable measures to support enterprises in their process of production stabilization. At the working session, Deputy Governor of Binh Duong Branch State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong informed of credit growth of 7.12% which is higher than in 2013 while confirming the active tendancy of Binh Duong economy in 2014.Besides, the business and production of enterprises have been improved to assure on schedule budget collection while internal collection eyed relatively higher amounts than previous term. The disbursement for capital construction eyed robust results thanks to operation, monitoring, and inspection concentration regardings activities of sectors and departments, especially on the major constructions of Pham Ngoc Thach Street, 7A Street, etc.During the inspection, the Board has pointed out the drawbacks and obstacles need to be removed including the slow recovery of industrial production.FDI sector eyed slight reduction in value despite its current stability. Some enterprises faced disrupted exportation revenue.“The economic structure requires balance and stability on the basis of internal forces. We have Small and Medium Enterprise Supporting Fund; however, in 10 years the fund has failed to prove its effectiveness. It is suggested that the banking sector and SBV should promote the fund in the sense that domestic enterprises should have ability to compete foreign enterprises. In fact, foreign forces attraction to develop the economy plays an important but do not be so dependent,” said Mr. Pham Danh as Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment.Sharing the same point of view, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghia, a delegate, suggested that analysis and evaluation should be made in the socio-economic field to propose forecast and plans for sudden incidents. Nghia affirmed that enterprises are facing challenges of competition of cargoes from foreign enterprises although loan interest rates of banks have declined. Vietnamese cargoes are challenged at their very own home market as Vietnam is becoming an official member of Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).As for agricultural sector, delegates asserted that the deeply declining rubber latex price was caused by sole exportation to Chinese market. Thus, the agricultural sector should make recommendation and report to assure right direction of the farmers.Reported by D. Chi – Translated by Vi Bao
