Medicines for Covid-19 prevention and control stocked up

Currently, the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic is very complicated. The newly emerged mutated virus has stronger characteristics of faster spread and more dangerous effects. Following the Prime Minister's direction on being proactive in the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, the Treatment Sub-Committee under the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the Bureau of Medical Examination and Treatment Management of Ministry of Health recommends units and localities to urgently stock up medicines to treat and prevent Covid-19.

Medical examination and treatment establishments shall inventory the quantity of currently available medicines based on the guidance of Covid-19 diagnosis and treatment together with the decisions of Ministry of Health to actively procure and stockpile medicines, equipment and consumables for the treatment of Covid-19 patients. The organization of medical examination is strengthened in terms of prescribing and dispensing medicines to patients coming for medical examination and treatment at grassroots medical levels. In case difficulties or problems in the process of purchasing, stocking up on medicines, equipment, and consumables for the treatment of Covid-19 patients may emerge, the unit is requested to report to the Medical Examination and Treatment Administration for general report to Ministry of Health.
