Nam According to Mr. Doan Van Re, Head of Sports Profession under Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to prepare for the dances – the spotlight of the inauguration ceremony of the Sports Games, organizers have mobilized nearly 500 people from life-nurturing clubs, armed forces, martial arts trainees, and children of Provincial Children House joining up troupes of 10 dancing unicorns and 2 dancing dragons ever since February 16 through March 17.The rehearsal was on March 18 to 24 with general rehearsal on March 26 and 27.Mr. Nguyen Phu Yen, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “This is a special event for Binh Duong sports activities. Utmostly, the provincial teams are preparing for defense of their titles in previous games in 2010. Through the games this year, trainers are seeking for new talents to supplement their teams in preparation campaign for gold harvest at the upcoming National Sports Games 2014 in Nam Dinh this November.The games is considered as the festival of the public especially local youths playing in home teams.Aside from political meanings, the sports games profession is highly evaluated this time, marking the growth in qualifications and capacities of organizing major cultural and sports events of Binh Duong Province. After three times of organization, the fourth games is promising to yield spectacular features.As revealed by organizers, the upcoming sports games have been well prepared in terms of staging and security. Through negotiation and discussion, organizers decided to use torches to enlighten the indoor fire stage of the sports gamesMr. Nguyen Phu Yen said: “The torch lighting ceremony plays an important role in any sports games.
