As an economic-cultural center of Ben Cat district, My Phuoc township has reached rapid growth in many fields in recent years, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of the local people. Especially, the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign has created an animated impetus among the entire Party and people, contributing to successfully realizing the local political tasks.

 

 

Focusing on administrative procedural reform contributes to benefitting people

 

After four year-implementation of the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign associated with Party building, thrift practice, wastefulness prevention…, My Phuoc township’s political system was strengthened and worked effectively. Nguyen Van Minh, chief of My Phuoc township’s Party Committee cum head of the township’s Steering Board for the campaign said that there were changes in awareness of the local officials, Party members and people about the importance of the campaign for building and preserving social morals and the great value of Uncle Ho’s moral standards.

 

Over the past four years, 100% of Party cells of My Phuoc township got the “pure and strong” titles; 100% of mass organizations herein had good performances. The township’s Party Committee was also recognized a pure and strong Party organization for five consecutive years…

 

The “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign has created positive impacts on implementation of the township’s political tasks. Over the past four years, My Phuoc township reaped achievements in socio-economic development. Industrial parks, residential areas and infrastructure herein saw synchronous investment, contributing to quickly reshaping the local image. The annual average income per capita increased to VND34mln from VND12mln. The number of the local poor households also reduced to 0.7% under the province’s new poverty line.

 

The local government was also recognized as the “excellent labor collective” for two consecutive years and was presented with the “emulation banner” of provincial People’s Committee. Along with socio-economic development, political security and social order herein were ensured over the past time. The local officials and people were also awarded the Ministry of Public Security’s “emulation banner” for their excellent performance in the movement of defending national security.

 

One of My Phuoc township’s highlighted results after four-year implementation of the campaign was administrative reform work. With the results done in the work, My Phuoc township has just been granted the ISO 9001:2008 quality management certification in terms of implementation of State administration and administrative procedures. My Phuoc township is now Ben Cat district’s first unit granted this certification. Over the past time, it also paid attention to thrift practice and wastefulness prevention at State agencies.

 

To achieve the above positive changes after four year-implementation of the “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” campaign, My Phuoc townships took a lot of good measures and doings in line with the local actual situation. But, one of the township’s most important lessons in realizing the campaign was to have to define that studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings are daily deed and self-training, which will help make positive change in each official, each Party member and people…
