National scientific conference "90 years of promoting the power of great national solidarity"

On Nov 11, in Hanoi, the Central Propagation and Education Committee, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and the Central Fatherland Front Committee jointly held a national symposium about "90 years of promoting the power of the great national solidarity” on occasion of 90th anniversary of United National Front, Vietnamese Fatherland Front Traditional Day. 

Chairing and attending the symposium were Tran Quoc Vuong, member of the Politburo, Standing Secretariat of the Party Central Committee; Vo Van Thuong, member of the Politburo, Head of the Central Propagation and Education Committee; Tran Thanh Man, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Fatherland Front Committee; Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of Central Theoretical Council. The online symposium was held between Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Fatherland Front Committee of provinces and cities nationwide. 

In Binh Duong province, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Loc, Provincial Party Standing Committee member, Head of Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.  

The symposium aimed to analyze and evaluate objectively and scientifically the Party's policies and guidelines on the great national solidarity. The role of the United National Front in glorious victories of the Party and the nation. Thereby, to summarize and deepen lessons learned in promoting the strength of national solidarity; to propose solutions to improve the quality of Vietnam Fatherland Front's operations, to meet the requirements of industrialization, modernization and international integration. The workshop provided theoretical and practical knowledge for the development of action plans of the Front and its member organizations.

The Organizing Committee received more than 64 speeches from leaders of the Central Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of Party and State agencies; leaders of Fatherland Front in a number of provinces and cities, and representatives of its member organizations; scientists from Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; scientists from research institutes and universities in Hanoi...
