The National Youth Long-road Cycling Championship is a tournament in the national competition system and hosted annually by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training and Vietnam Federation of Bikes and Sport Motors.
This year, the 25th tournament was hosted by Binh Duong provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism with nearly 145 young athletes from 10 units having strongest bicycle movements in the country. The athletes were divided into 2 age groups, 17-18 and under 16, men and women, competed in 8 contents as prescribed.
The tournament was started from June 30. In the first day of competition, the athletes competed in the 30km category for 17-and-18-year-old women; 40km for 17-and-18-year-old men; 25km for under- 16 women; 30km for under-16 men. The organizers also awarded prizes to excellent athletes in the above categories. The remaining contents will take place until July 6.
