Early October 27, TDM city’s Center for Culture and Information, Association of Taichi and Association for the Elderly jointly organized the 2013 TDM city festival of Taichi and art performance at Phu Loi ward’s Center for Culture and Information.

The festival absorbed nearly 1,000 athletes from 20 clubs and associations of Taichi in the province and other localities, including Tay Ninh, HCM city and Binh Phuoc. Participating teams had good items for their Tai chi performance at the festival. They also expressed their ability of art performance via dancing and singing items in praise of Party, Uncle Ho and homeland.

Nguyen Duc Hau, Director of TDM city’s Center for Culture and Information, Head of the festival’s organizing board said: “The annual festival aims to raise the spiritual life of the elderly, encouraging them to live happily, healthily, and usefully for the families and society. This is also a chance for the elderly to exchange and learn mutual experience about their role in promoting the campaigns of “All people taking part in physical exercise following the great example of Uncle Ho” and “The entire people consolidate to build a cultural lifestyle in residential areas”.
