Di An town’s Culture Information – Sport Center held Taekwondo Championship under the the 4th Di An town’s Sport Games 2013 with participation of nearly 200 athletes from 11 wards, schools in town. Organizers conferred prizes on winners of female combat category with 50-55 kg weight division Athletes competed for 31 medal sets according to 2 categories of Poomsae demonstration and combat competition. There were 5 contents of Poomsae demonstration: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s teams, women’s teams, men and women’s teams. Combat competition category had 21 weight divisions (12 male and 9 female weight divisions). Taekwondo Championship was 1 of 21 competitive sports of Di An town’s Sport Games. 2013, was to create opportunities for athletes to practice and learn from experiences as well as for organizers to select excellent athletes for provincial Sport Games 2014.
