Along to over one million students nationwide, nearly 8,600 local students take high school final exam today. Examinees of high school level will take 6 exam subjects of literature, physics, geography, biology, mathematics and foreign languages whilst examinees of continuation level will take 6 exam subjects of literature, physics, geography, biology, mathematics and history.

In preparation for the final exam, the local Education and Training Department set up 15 exam councils with 291 exam rooms for high school level and 4 exam councils with 73 exam rooms for continuation level. Besides, the sector appointed 1,061 supervisors to check the final exam.

To win good results in the exam, teachers of high schools across province busily reviewed lessons for examinees over the past days.

In the high school final exam 2011, the whole country has 1,053,081 examinees. The total exam rooms of this year are 44,449 with 2,432 exam councils. To ensure safety and seriousness in the final exam, the sector mobilized 132,303 staff and teachers to join in exam supervision and 22,860 teachers to mark exam papers.

In this year, the Ministry of Education and Training sets up 64 exam inspection delegations across provinces and cities. The ministry added that this year’s final exam is basically similar previous years with contents of 12th grade curriculum.
