Nguyen Thi That finishes first in eighth stage of Binh Duong int’l women’s cycling race

Early Mar.15, the eighth stage of the sixth Binh Duong International Women’s Cycling Race-Biwase Cup 2016 concluded.

Nguyen Thi That of An Giang excellently won the 123km-stage from Binh Thuan’s Phan Thiet city to Vung Tay city. With the result, it is sure that she will claim the green jersey as the best sprinter at the tournament with 89 points, followed by Pham Hong Loan of Binh Duong and Pham Thi Thuy Lien of HCM city.

Pham Hong Nhung of Binh Duong continued retaining the white jersey for the best young rider. After eight stages, Japan still took the lead in team ranking with total time of 57:18:37. Thailand and Biwase ranked second and third, respectively. 

Kaneko Hiromi of Japan still held the yellow jersey with total time of 19:03:34, followed by Phetdarin Somrat of Thailand and Nguyen Thi That.

Today, Mar.16, the tournament will conclude with its 120km-ninth stage from Vung Tau city to Binh Duong’s TDM city.
