Early May 10, North Tan Uyen district held a conference to review the three-year implementation of the national target program on new-style rural construction for the 2021-2025 period.
So far, all communes in the district have been recognized as the new-style rural ones by provincial People's Committee. There have been 7 out of 8 communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards and no commune reaching the model new-style rural standards. The district’s socio-economic infrastructure has received good investment at the needs of socio-economic development and living conditions of the people while changing the local rural image.
In the district, there have been more and more production models with high economic efficiency. District-based newly established cooperatives and cooperative groups have operated more effectively, creating jobs, raising incomes and reducing poverty for rural people. The district's per capita income is nearly VND 80 million per person per year. The rate of poor households and near-poor ones under the central multidimensional poverty line decreased to 0.19% over the past time. In the coming time, the district will further uphold all results achieved over the past 3 years and strive to have all communes with advanced new-style rural standards by 2025, 2 out of 8 communes with model new-style rural standards; reach standards of a new-style rural district …
On this occasion, North Tan Uyen district’s People's Committee honored 18 collectives and 41 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the implementation of the national target program on new-style rural construction between 2021 and 2025.
