Number of foreign tourists to Binh Duong surges

As of now, the province has had a total of 323 companies in tourism accommodation with 6,445 rooms and total registered capital of more than VND1.67trillion; 416 individual business households in tourism accommodation with 5,093 rooms and total registered capital of nearly VND226billion together with 28 travel units.

The province in 2018 welcomed 4.75 million tourists, including 300,000 international tourists and 4.45million domestic ones, up 4.4% compared to the same period of 2017 or 102% of the year’s plan. The total revenue of the local tourism sector was estimated at VND1.36billion, up 6.3% against the corresponding period of 2017 or 102.6% of the year’s plan.
