Provincial People's Committee promulgates regulations on management of tourist attractions in the province

Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 31/2018/QĐ- UBND regulating the management of tourist attractions and areas in Binh Duong province. This decision will take effect from January 1, 2019. Subjects of this decision are provincial departments, agencies; People's Committees of districts, towns and city; Units managing tourist attractions and areas; organizations and individuals inside and outside the country; communities involved in service provision at tourist sites.

According to this decision, tourist sites and zones in the province must have regulations (in Vietnamese and English) based on laws and regulations. At the same time, these tourist sites are responsible for exploit and use tourist resources reasonably and efficiently in line with the province's socio-economic development planning and tourism development orientations, contributing to economic restructuring, fast and sustainable tourism development.

Services in tourist sites and areas must strictly comply with business regulations, guarantee social security and order, environmental hygiene, food hygiene and safety according to laws; not to damage natural landscapes, flora and fauna; not to affect negatively historical-cultural monuments, ethnic cultural identity. Provincial departments and agencies and district-level People's Committees shall cooperate with each other in performing the State management over the planning and operation of tourist sites and areas according to laws and this regulation.
