The opening ceremony of the provincial Tai-chi Festival 2012 took place at the provincial Sport-Gymnastics Center on Jan. 2 with the participation of over 1,000 old men and women from 8 tai-chi clubs across 7 districts and townships. Tan Uyen district Tai-chi delegation accounts for the biggest quantity with over 400 athletes.

At the festival, each participating teams perform 2 events and 1 music item. The festival ended successfully.
