Over 22,000 turns of people under hardship offered necessities at VND 0 market fair

On October 31, at the humanitarian activity location of Binh Duong provincial Red Cross on 30/4 Road of Phu Hoa ward in Thu Dau Mot city, the Red Cross of Binh Duong province continued to open a "VND 0 " market fair for the 67th time to offer necessities to disadvantaged people in the province.

This time market fair serves 500 disadvantaged people, self-employed workers, people with disabilities, lottery ticket street sellers and disadvantaged workers in hostels in the province. The market fair has many essential items such as rice, instant noodles, chicken eggs, cooking oil, milk, soy sauce, fish sauce, vegetables, fruits etc. All goods are served at the VND 0 market fair enabled by units, businesses and benefactors in joint hands to contribute to the provincial Red Cross to share and bring joy to people in difficulty due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.

At the fair, the provincial Red Cross also arranged an area for textbooks of grades 1-12 along with school supplies and used clothes to further serve people after going to the market to choose with motto of "Whoever in need gets".

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic, the provincial Red Cross has organized 67 "VND 0" market fair and has supported more than 22,000 turns of disadvantaged people.
