Binh Duong, after many years of building infrastructure, construction and development has become one of the good choices of investors as APEC members. Investors in APEC have poured investments not only into industry but also into big capital in the field of trade - services, real estates, and education in Binh Duong.

Investments to large-scale commercial projects

About 10 years ago, Binh Duong did not have many commercial and service centers which were mainly built and developed by enterprises in the province. Now, the province has dozens of supermarkets and crowded commercial centers. Most of these are invested from Korea, Japan and many more.

First of all, the event of leading Korean corporations - Lotte Mart’s decision to establish its large-scale commercial center at the crossroads of Ong Bo bridge in Thuan An Town is named. Being the fifth center of Lotte Mart Group, Lotte Mart Binh Duong has the style and quality of service. The presence of Lotte Mart has opened up many opportunities for people to purchase and contributed to change the face of Thuan An Town.

Lotte Mart Binh Duong is a multifunctional shopping center of rich source of products. Apart from the supermarket, Lotteria and KFC, Lotte Cinema, Fahasa bookshop, entertainment area, skating rink, etc. are available. It can be affirmed that Lotte Mart Binh Duong is a complex of fun, shopping, and relaxation for the family rather than just a supermarket of goods sales. Here, the needs of both adults and children are fully met at affordable rates and the most professional service style.

Not long after that, another APEC member retail giant - Aeon, chose Binh Duong as the second largest shopping center in the country with US$ 95 million of construction cost covering the land area of 6.2 hectares with total floor area of 70,000m2. The three-storey shopping mall is also constructed with parking lot for 6,000 motorbikes and 1,000 cars. Inside the center there is Aeon department store and about 150 booths of well-known brands at home and abroad.

According to Aeon Vietnam Co. Ltd., this is the second shopping center of Aeon in Vietnam after Aeon Tan Phu Celadon in Ho Chi Minh City in early January 2014. Aeon Mall Binh Duong Canary in Thuan An Town - shopping mall with many amusement sites, services, and restaurants has offered the opportunity to experience new services and products, contributing to a better quality of life for customers.

Speaking about the inauguration of the center, Yasuo Nishitohge, General Director of Aeon Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that investment in Binh Duong was advantageous as the leaders of Binh Duong province and other departments and agencies have quickly helped and offered favorable conditions for the company to implement the project. As a result, the shopping center has been implemented on schedule. This has contributed positively to the urban renewal of Binh Duong, serving the demand of consumers in and outside the province.

Contribution to modern and civilized urban areas

At Aeon Mall Binh Duong Canary, according to functional zones, the ground floor features modern urban life with typical booths such as FOS, Giordano, The Blues, Labella, Rosebullet Edit Tokyo, Japan. Zone, Café Phuc Long, Highlands Coffee, Texas Chicken and so on. The first floor is for recreation activities with the typical booths of Dream Games, Children Smile, Pinkiss, My Kingdom, Renaissance Fitness Center, Mano Mano, Sakura Cleaning and so on. An unnamed representative of Aeon Group informed of the mottos of "high quality products", "safe and reliable foods", "proposals of new lifestyles", Aeon attaches importance to providing comfort and convenient shopping experience to improve the quality of life of local people and the region. In the coming time, Aeon will continue to promote the "move to Asia" strategy by actively deploying more shopping centers as well as general department stores in combination with various types of services and finance for long-term development in Vietnam.

Becamex Tokyu has opened its commercial center next to Binh Duong Province Administration Center (Binh Duong New City) to meet the demand of shopping and food of customers, partners and locals in the new urban area in January 2015 under the name of Hikari. This place offers convenient services, food and shopping in modern style, helping consumers save time and money because they do not have to go far.

In line with urban development, the Kaze shuttle bus project of Becamex Tokyu Bus Company (a subsidiary of Becamex Tokyu) has been put into operation with links between Thu Dau Mot City and Binh Duong Administrative Center, passing the important and crowded areas including hospitals, schools, supermarkets, and residential areas. CNG (natural compressed air) buses meeting the emission regulations of Euro 4 are a mong an environmentally friendly public transport system. Becamex Tokyu Bus will be using the month ticket Free Pass using IC card by Japanese technology. In the future, this IC card will also be put into use for Ho Chi Minh City's subways.

It can be said that the prestige investors from APEC members such as Korea, Japan, and Singapore have poured capital resources into commercial projects and real estates in Binh Duong as a indispensable trend for development. This will help investors not only to make high profit and increase the value of trade surplus but also to develop one of the cities in Vietnam in the near future.
