Photographer Tran Duy Tinh wins first prize of National Art Photography Contest on "Sea, island of the homeland"

Photographer Tran Duy Tinh (Tran Tinh) informed, his photo series about "A house protects the sea" continued to reap the first prize in the contest "Sea, island of the homeland" co-organized and exhibited by the Central Commission for Propaganda and Education, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Vietnam Association of Photographers.

This was a national competition launched from June 2018. This photo contest had the theme "Sea, island of the homeland" attracted the participation of 900 photographers from 60 provinces and cities across the country with 5,219 single photos, photo series. According to the organizers, the entries described the beauty of nature, the people on the sea, islands of Vietnam, customs, habits and culture of Coastal people. In particular, a large number of entries focused on living, learning, training, combat readiness, security and sovereignty over islands of the country.

After many rounds, jury and organizing committee of the contest selected more than 200 entries to the final round; conferred 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes. Two first prizes belonged to Tran Duy Tinh (Binh Duong) and Nguyen Viet Rung (Hai Phong City).
