The final events of Karatedo tournament under the 4th provincial Sports Festival took place at Tran Hung Dao high school’s sporting event hall in Phu Giao district yesterday, May 4.

Finally, TDM city won a gold medal in the women’s team event while silver and bronze medals were awarded to Phu Giao district and Thuan An town, respectively. Thuan An town won a gold medal in the women’s team event. Silver and bronze medals belonged to two units, Tan Uyen town and TDM city, respectively. 

Phu Giao topped the tournament with 8 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. It was followed by TDM city with 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals; Thuan An town with 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.

This year’s tournament absorbed more than 150 Karatedo martial artists across the province. They raced for 22 sets of medals in 2 events: performance and combat.
