On October 18, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, chaired a Directors Board's meeting of Provincial Social Policy Bank to evaluate the performance in the third quarter, announce orientations and tasks for the fourth quarter of 2023.

In the past 9 months, total credit capital reached nearly VND4,475 billion, an increase of over VND 262 billion compared to the beginning of the year. Concluding the meeting, Ha requested Board of Representatives to continue to well implement the Central directions and Resolution of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies on social policy credit targets; complete inspection and supervision according to plan; assign Provincial Bank for Social Policies to be in charge of the pilot implementation of consumer loans for low-income people using local budget capital in Thu Dau Mot City and Di An City. At the same time, to proactively coordinate with local authorities and entrusted socio-political organizations to drastically deploy assigned credit plan targets, with priority given to poor, near-poor, and poverty-escaping households in the period 2023-2025; strengthen information and propagation to fully implement commitments and regulations when borrowing policy credit...
