Project 1816 actively transformed health sector in Binh Duong

After more than two years of implementation of Project 1816, health sector in Binh Duong has been improved in terms of advanced technology, staff skills and qualifications.

  

Under this project proposed by Ministry of Health, specialized officials will be alternativel transferred to lower rank hospitals to improve health check quality. New technology has been applied to surgery, intensive care, and much more.

 

“The transfers of specialized officials have helped to improve qualification of doctors and nurses in lower-end hospitals and clinics. Despite lack of equipments and staffs, achievements are encouraging,” said Tu Tan Thu, M.D., Head of Professional Office of Department of Health.

Thanks to Project 1816, public people are easier to access high technology services which have help severe cases to recover. Information and experience exchanges are maintained for diagnosis and treatment.

 

The provincial hospital has established inspection teams to inspect quality of facilities, equipments, and staffs to support district-level hospitals. As a result, 8 training courses have been offered to 296 turns of attendees.
