Early November 20, provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held a get-together to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and review the 2012-2013 academic year for the local vocational training sector.
As of November 2013, the whole province had 56 vocational training facilities, including 5 colleges, 8 junior colleges, 13 centers, 28 facilities registering for vocational training…In the 2012-2013 academic year, province-based vocational training facilities enrolled 32,065 learners. Skills at primary level and with training time under three months: automobile driving, automotive industry, metal cutting, industrial electronics, electrical industry, industrial electric installing…absorbed the most learners in the last academic year.
Province-based vocational training facilities last year advocated vocational training to 10 skills for 1,555 rural laborers, exceeding 9.8% of the projection. In the 2013-2014 academic year, they will strive to enroll 40,953 learners and reach 37,444 learners with graduation, contributing to raising the ratio of the province’s trained laborers to 68% in 2014.
