The movement of training up to become highly qualified teaching staffs has not only satisfied the social demands but also improved quality of vocational instructors. Their devotion and enthusiasm have trained up qualified workers holding scientific and technological know-how in the stage of industrialization and modernization of the nation.On Vietnamese Teachers’ Day of November 20, we introduce to you some of the model teachers in vocational training sector of Binh Duong Province.Mr. PHAM VIET THANG: Methodology applied for easier understandingAs an instructing teacher of industrial electricity at Di An Vocational Junior College in Di An Town, Thang has overcome challenges to fulfill his assignment to train up skillful workers for the cause of local development. In his profession, Thang invests much to lesson plan and instruction progress by applying suitable and understandable methods for his trainees to acquire and train in practice. Mr. Pham Viet Thang (second from right) is instructing his trainees to practice what have been learned So as to help them with the learning process, he makes use of all teaching tools and aids available. Particularly for the past time, he had two creation of teaching aids prized at provincial level. He even won the first prize of designing teaching aids in Binh Duong Province by the model of “automatic document merging system using PLC” and third prize for the model of “controlling lighting of smart houses”. Besides, he won national promotional prize awarded by General Department of Vocational Training.“In my work, I manage my time to help weaker trainees while supporting better ones. Their success is very encouraging to me,” he said.Mr. PHAN HOANG AN: Making efforts for human resource training“I try my best to make use of the most up-to-date technology in my instruction to make my trainees familiar with actual environment. I make constant efforts and devote to my trainees for their best learning conditions,” said Phan Hoang An, an instructor of Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College. Mr. Phan Hoang An is doing research on programming robot arm ABBIRB 120 As an electric and power supply engineer, An has constantly been engaged in self-training to integrated to modern scientific and technological development. In the profession, An is very supportive in refining and repairing MPS to service basic and advanced PLC, renovating switchboard control model using PLC, and compiling curriculum of Electric Equipment Practice, etc.By his constant efforts, in 2013, An won second prize of Binh Duong Contest of Self-made equipment. For many years, he has been holding title of emulative soldier. Mr. HOANG VAN THANG: Success thanks to efforts and trainingAfter graduating from Binh Duong School of Technical Workers (now Binh Duong Vocational Junior College), Mr. Hoang Van Thang was retained at the school to work as an assistant instructor. Aside from his hours in classes, he worked on extra instruction to stock up experience and make ends meet. Mr. Hoang Van Thang (far right) is examining contest of young vocational trainees “In my work, I make every effort to move forward. In 2005, I was designated to contest of elite vocational instructors of Binh Duong Province where I won first prize. By 2006, I was honored to national contest of elite vocational instructors in Nghe An Province. Thanks to enthusiast help of co-workers and self-efforts, I won third prize in the contest. By 2007, I completed my university degree and stepped up to post graduation training which was completed in 2012 at Technical Training University of Ho Chi Minh City.
