Delegates raising money for flood-hit people in the central region

Provincial Farmers’ Association yesterday held a meeting to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association.

 At the meeting, Nguyen Hoang Vinh, Chairman of provincial Farmers’ Association reviewed the glorious tradition of Vietnamese farmers in the national construction and defense and the history & development of the Vietnam Farmers’ Association over periods. He also raised high the role and position of the association in promoting the development of the nation during the industrialization and modernization period…

 On this occasion, 116 outstanding individuals were conferred the mementoes “For Vietnamese farmers” by the Vietnam Farmers’ Association Central Committee. Provincial Farmers’ Association also awarded prizes to those who gained achievements in the writing contest on the Vietnam Farmers’ Association; organized activities to raise funds for flood-hit people in the central region.
